Jordan & Kylie Lawson

Many years of searching for understanding through his experience with same-gender attraction led Jordan Lawson to peace, joy, and a temple marriage with his wife, Kylie. Having been married for over two years, they are currently expecting a son to be born in December. Jordan has a bachelorís degree in art and Kylie has her bachelorís degree in plant science. They currently live in northern Utah. The Lawsons have learned that it is through relying on the Lord that miracles can happen and that God is every detail of life, including marriage.

Jordan and Kylie, thank you both for sharing such a difficult journey with us. Jordan, I see myself in you; someone who wants so much to do the right thing but at times facing giants that are bigger than you ever thought possible. I see a man with much courage anchored in your faith. Kylie, I see the strength of my wife in you. As I watched your interview, I saw how you looked at Jordan and caressed his hand...supported and loved him. You reminded me of the love and sacrifice given to me unconditionally by my wife. You magnify the beauty and power of women that I am so grateful for. You can do this with each other and with the Lord. You have everything you need.

Your story helped me so much. I have been experiencing same sex attraction and I have a hard time coping with it. You gave me hope that I could one day have a marriage with someone of the opposite sex that is still filled with love and intimacy. I can tell you love eachother dearly, and I hope to have a marriage with as much love as yours does. Thank you Kylie, for being supportive of Jordan, and thank you Jordan for having the courage to share your story. It has inspired me.
